YVAN EHT NIOJ is JOIN THE NAVY spelled backwards.

The original phrase is a recruitment poster. This is the other direction. We are not enlisting you. We are not building a force. We are not asking you to become a unit of anything.

You arrive as a civilian of the internet, which is to say: a person with a page.

YVAN EHT NIOJ is a members-only social medium.

It is a page that is yours. A presence that is live. A room that only exists while someone is actually in it.

It is MySpace if MySpace had been designed, on purpose, by people who survived the algorithm: customizable, a little melodramatic, in real time, and closed to anyone who wants an audience more than a life.

There is no For You. There is no growth team. There is no brand kit. You do not post content. You keep a room. Other people come over.

It happens IRL first. The site is the mirror of being together, not a substitute for posting about it. When you are here, you are here. When you leave, the room goes dim.

If you need reach, you already know the websites that sell it. This is not one of them.

Every member keeps a page.

A page has a wall. Music if you want it. A layout you are allowed to ruin. Polaroids, handwriting, a song that is too much, a status that is only true tonight.

Presence is the unit. Who is actually here, right now, in real time. Not who posted. Not who grew. Who is in the room.

There is no public discovery tab. You meet people the way you meet people: someone brings you, you stay, you come back.

Season 01 opens with a finite number of rooms. When they fill, they fill.

Be specific. Be a little sincere. Be willing to look unoptimized.

Do not scrape the room for clout. Do not screenshot people as a hobby. Do not turn a private night into a thread.

Harassment ends your key. So does using this place as a funnel. So does pretending to be a person you are not, except in the ways that art requires, which you will know from the ways that scams require.

If you are bored, leave. Boredom is allowed. Performing boredom at other people is not.
